Torlum Software is the development & research hub of Peter Scott. The primary purpose is to centralise resources, information, and communication for my software development projects. All of which may prove to be of use to you.
In the course of creating websites and applications, I compose various JavaScript plugins, PHP functions, ASP.NET C# Classes, and database tables that are readily applicable to many software situations. I will release several of these, along with supporting documentation, under a Creative Commons Share Alike license. You will be able to download these plugins & seek basic support through this website.
Ultimately, this website is about improving my skills as a programmer and exploring new ideas. Over the next few months I will seek to explore push-technology through the creation of a private cloud. Additionally, I will venture into the here-to-fore unknown brilliance of wider device-integration through mobile websites and automatic synchronisation across-multiple devices (closely related to the cloud).
It's a place where I can enjoy creating, as far as it is within my abilities, programming perfection and I can seek to advance the capabilities of technology to meet both my requirements and those of others. I hope that the resources made available here will be of use to you but, as the saying goes...
...It's not all about you
